The “III INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP ON LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE” was held at the School of Architecture of the University of Malaga.

The course was focused on the analysis and project development of a specific urban piece, taking into account its different urban, architectural and landscape scales. The understanding of the project from all its scales makes it possible to discover, in its joint theoretical and practical reflection, the authentic design value of the intervention proposal as a whole.

It was a workshop open in its reflection and continuous in its realisation, where theory and practice are carried out simultaneously through a concrete PROJECT of an urban piece of the city of Malaga. In this way, the discipline of Architecture and Urbanism are constructed as two inseparable sides of the same coin, where the PROJECT is the basis on which we try to reflect on the Art of building the city and its Landscape in all its urban and territorial scales.

The Landscape Workshop was organised by the “Landscape and Tourism” Business Chair of the School of Architecture of MÁLAGA, in collaboration with the Schools of Architecture of ROME (La Sapienza), MILAN (Politecnico), PARIS (La Villette), SIRACUSA, RABAT, CAIRO, VALENCIA, PAMPLONA, SEVILLE and GRANADA.

The workshop was held at the headquarters of the School of Architecture of Malaga in its Project Classrooms where the work was carried out as an open workshop, with classes, lectures and development of the work.
