On the occasion of this tenth edition of the “International Landscape Workshop“, which was held in 2018 in Valencia, the concepts and reflections that have been present in previous Workshops were promoted in an attempt to develop the professional dialogue between the two scales of Architecture and Urban Planning as inseparable practices of a joint discourse that we could define as the Art of Building the City.

It is from these approaches that we would define “Landscape” as a visual and aesthetic perception that tries to understand the heritage received in order to adapt it and dominate it as the new “looks” that provoke the continuous mutations of the city as a cultural reflection of every era.
