ESTUDIO SEGUÍ AT THE “X INTERNATIONAL LANDSCAPE WORKSHOP”.

Estudio Seguí has participated in the “X International Landscape Workshop” held at the School of Architecture of the Polytechnic University of Valencia during the dates of 17, 18 and 19 September 2018, where they presented a series of proposals along with other Architecture Studios (Vicente Colomer, José María Lozano, Francisco Leiva, César Portela, Kathryn Gustafson…) and various professors of the School of Architecture of Valencia.

The “International Landscape Workshop” was born in 2008 from the platform of the magazine “GEOMETRÍA” and the Business Chair “Landscape and Tourism”, consolidating with this tenth edition its cultural and professional project on the reflection of the “Landscape” as a “project” of intervention in the city and its territories. Its denomination as “International Landscape Workshop” is justified both by its vocation of being a “Workshop” of work and active production of its results through the editions produced by the “GEOMETRY Publishing House”, and by its decidedly “International” scope to generate a greater teaching and professional exchange with other international circuits, as has occurred with the Schools of Architecture of Rome (“La Sapienza”), Paris (“La Villette”), Syracuse, Thessaly, Reggio Calabria, Rabat, Cairo… and for raising the concept of “Landscape” as “new views” that try to understand the “mutations” of the City and its Territories jointly from the practices and scales of Architecture and Planning with their “projective” capacities to transform the city in the face of its new demands.
