INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP

GEOMETRIA, in collaboration with various Schools of Architecture and Colleges of Architects, organises the “International Landscape Workshop” with the aim of encouraging educational reflection and professional debate on how to intervene in our cities.

The INTERNATIONAL LANDSCAPE WORKSHOP was born in 2008 from the platform of Editorial Geometría and the Chair of Landscape and Tourism Enterprise, which under the initial tutelage of the School of Architecture of the University of Malaga is directed by the architect José Seguí. Its name, International Landscape Workshop, is justified both by its vocation as a WORKSHOP and the dissemination of its results through the publications produced by Editorial Geometría; and by its decided INTERNATIONAL scope to generate a greater teaching and professional exchange; and by proposing the concept of LANDSCAPE as a perception or cultural look that tries to understand the mutations of the City and its Territories from Architecture and Planning together, with their design capabilities to transform them in the face of their new demands.
