The proposal tries to order the entire maritime front of the Zapillo Beaches, by means of a pedestrian walkway that unifies all the problems of gradients of the adjoining buildings and contributes the urban qualification that demanded this important maritime facade of the city of Almeria.
A series of perimeter walls in white concrete, which integrate lighting scaffolds with the same material, and a floor design with corrugated strips that refer to the “waves” of the beach front, are its main design elements. The promenade ends at its end adjacent to the Avda. Del Mediterraneo by means of a palm grove that will pick up the alignments of the palm trees that line the promenade itself, creating an attractive “head” patella between Paseo del Zapillo and Paseo del Mediterráneo.
