Its difficulty was to project and execute a new stadium on the traces of the old, providing it with all the requirements required by the technical and football regulations of UEFA for the celebration of international matches, increasing its capacity to 33,000 seats in total Required for future use.

The realization of the new football stadium “la Rosaleda” in Malaga, is projected and executed replacing the old building existing through different phases not to interrupt their sports use during the football season of the city football club. Its difficulty was therefore in designing and executing a new stadium on the traces of the old, giving it all the requirements required by the technical and football regulations of UEFA for the celebration of international matches, also increasing its capacity to 33,000 places In total that was required for its future use. The work was done in four phases, first replacing the two bottoms (north and south) and finally the lateral ones (tribune and preference) with double “visor” conformed by special meshes curved in their sides of Tribune and Preference. The field of play was endowed with all the most innovative technologies of sustainability, and its facilities are structured through a perimetral “ring” that rationalizes both its uses and its own maintenance. Likewise, it was made the regulatory endowments of changing rooms and complementary rooms of cafes, shops, Club rooms, Press …, as well as the attached training camp for complementary sports activities.
